Yes, The Marshmallow Mama is back and I hope to be able to write more often. I cannot believe that my last entry was 2 years ago! A lot has happened since then. Indulge me as I attempt a quick rundown of TMM’s 2015 and 2016.
We are now a family of 5.
I gave birth to this beautiful little one in August 2015, our Josefina. She is my Lola’s, Mommy’s, cousins’ namesake. She is a 4th generation Josefina!
Fina is now 1&1/2 years old. She has bright, expressive eyes.
She loves to pose for the camera and even makes sure that her photos are Facebook-worthy! She knows what a kabuki brush looks like and what it is for. Haha!
She can say “Papa”, “Mama”, “poo-poo”, “nana” (wala na), “nahuyog” (nahulog), “baba”, “ayoko”. A few days ago, I discovered she knows her shapes!
Pippo, who turned 4 in November, is currently Lego-crazy! Amazing that he can do this on his own, with minimal help from his Papa.
He knows how to add and subtract, and his alphabet.
He is very curious – asks “What’s under our skin, Mama?”, “What’s inside our hair, Mama?”
Joaquin will be 7 this October and is now in grade 1.
He is growing up to be a headstrong, opinionated boy. It is funny how he is so much like his Papa, but so much like me at the same time – he has his Papa’s facial features and gait, my temper and will. He enjoys the outdoors.
He was only too happy to discover a little mountain of sand in our backyard the other day.
The Husband is busier than ever, but still finds time to sort and clean up hand-me-down Lego bricks
and be silly with the little ones.
Love, love him so much for that!
I, on the other hand, try to be at the office from Mondays to Thursdays. My Fridays (hopefully!) would be devoted to writing, running errands for our household, and Fridates with my boys.
My obsessions, to date, (apart from furniture and home accessories, of course!), are:
- Make-up; and
Finally, allow me to share with you some of the latest additions to our home:
I hope to be able to write again in a few days. Two years is too loooong!
